14 Points are mudras (hand gestures) that were taught to the Sanga at the Dallas Meditation Center by Thay Z, a Buddhist monk... These mudras are wonderful to help calm the body and mind. Thay recommends the 14 Points to start your mornings and when you're ready to fall asleep. I have added my own comments in parenthesis (__). I fell in love with the 14 Points mudras and I have incorporated them into my Gong Journeys Meditation Gong Baths. |

Start with both hands flat on your thighs... (there is truly a beginning and a closing)
1. Open right hand
2. Right hand reaches up for energy (Reach for the highest power, reach for love)
3. Right hand brings energy down to lower belly (Bring all of that energy to your abdomen)
4. Open left hand
5. Left hand reaches up for energy (Reach for the highest power, reach for love)
6. Left hand brings energy down to lower belly (Bring all of that energy to your abdomen)
7. Right hand moves from lower belly to the heart (Bring all of that energy and love to your heart)
8. Right hand extends upward giving back the energy (Extend your arm releasing all of that energy and love back to the universe for love is always better when shared and given away.)
9. Right hand comes down to thigh
10.Right hand closes on thigh
11.Left hand moves from lower belly to the heart
12. Left hand extends upward giving back the energy (Extend your arm releasing all of that energy and love back to the universe for love is always better when shared and given away.)
13.Left hand goes back to thigh
14.Left hand closes on thigh (Closing)
Repeat 2 times or more. Reach for the energy and love whenever you need it!
The purpose is to channel all of that energy and love into your being and to share that boundless energy and love with others.
